I chose Willoughton school for my daughter because I wanted a rural, small, intimate and family friendly school and that’s just what I got. It’s fantastic my daughter is so happy there and so am I.

We could not of picked a better school.

I chose Willoughton Primary School for my children because of the small family feel it has. Everybody knows everybody, the older children look out for the younger children, and the staff go above and beyond in teaching and caring for the children.

It's a lovely little community and a safe space for children to grow and learn, with so much personalised support.

No- one gets lost in a crowded classroom, and no-one is just a number.

Our time at Willoughton will come to an end this year, after 12 years and we will all really miss it. My son says he doesn't ever want to leave, so I think that says it all really.

My son has attended Willoughton priamry for the last 5 years. The staff have been amazingly supportive and ensure each child, no matter what ability has a  safe and positive environment to achieve and grow.

The lessons are varied and engaging. Staff are only one call away to provide extra support when needed and any issues dealt with swiftly. Chosing Willoughton primary school for my sons education has been the best decision I have made.

My children feel safe and happy at Willougton school. My son has dyslexia and the staff have been amazing and very supportive. I highly recommend this school.

I had a choice of 5 nearby schools to send my daughter to so it was a difficult decision to make. Her first school is such an important part of her life and hopefully a good and positive experience to shape her future.  I had a number of parents recommend Willoughton Primary School to me. I had heard that the new headmistress was a 'breath of fresh air'. I had to unfortunately select a school during strict covid regulations so was unable to visit during school hours which was what i wanted to do. However, I was able to arrange to visit after the children had left and meet the teachers and see round the facilities. I met the reception teacher Miss Clarke and a number of other members of staff. I was so impressed by the enthusiasm, energy and friendliness of Miss Clarke and all other staff were very welcoming too. The class felt inviting and had a really nice vibe. It is hard to explain but my gut feeling was that my daughter would be well looked after and enjoy her time there. I also liked the fact that there is a good staff to child ratio.

My daughter has been attending for nearly 2 terms now and I believe I have made the right decision. She is happy, making new friends and more importantly learning lots of things. She routinely brings work home so it is lovely to see the kind of things she is doing in the day time. I would recommend this school to anyone who wants a good start for their child.

Willoughton school is a small, very friendly school with a big heart. My child has grown in confidence due to the hard working staff at the school. Now a yr6 pupil, we shall be extremely sad to leave.
